just, wow.
the comments on this “dear prudence” column are incredibl…y upsetting. the letter was trollbait, to be fair, but the fact that so many people (including but not limited to dudes) took it upon themselves to define “real” rape and castigate a woman for daring to change her story/drink alcohol is enraging.
also, that letter writer is a terrible, terrible friend. “i doubt your story about being date raped, so i’m going to talk about how often you get black-out drunk to emily yoffe.” maybe you should, i dunno, TALK TO YOUR FRIEND AND ASK WHAT HAPPENED.
